Jennifer Pedranti has her entire brood again. Just recently, she was awarded sole physical custody of her three youngest children. But The Real Housewives of Orange County star had to say goodbye to her second eldest son, Dawson Pedranti for several months. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and spent most of the summer in bootcamp. But now Dawson is finished with that part of his commitments.
Jennifer has kept her followers abreast of Dawson’s progress. She’s been cheering him on in social media posts. From the first letter she got from her son while he was at boot camp, to the challenges he faced during his graduation, the RHOC favorite has shared it all.

“He’s back!” Jennifer wrote in an Instagram post from October 14th . “[Dawson Pedranti] we are all CHEERING you on!”
Dawson is pictured in uniform in one, and military fatigues in the other. Jennifer revealed in the comments that her son will start reconnaissance training. And the good news is that he will be closer to home.
“These next three months are going to fly by! I will come see you EVERY time you tell me I can (be careful),” she wrote.
“So many people have prayed over you, sent messages on your behalf, sent positivity to you,” Jennifer added. “Today as you go back for more training please know we are LIFTING you up and CHEERING so loudly for you!!! Go get-em Marine Pedranti.”
Earlier in October, the Bravolebrity revealed on Instagram that Dawson had a personal setback. He fainted during graduation exercises.
“In the last few days of his boot camp (the hardest days called The Crucible) he came down with pneumonia. He thought he was getting through it today but it got the best of him,” Jennifer explained. “Dawson was so bummed…I could see his disappointment in his eyes. BUT the rest of us are PROUD! I’m proud to sit and watch him become a marine in his graduation OR standing next to him in a hospital bed getting an IV!”
The RHOC star decided to postpone her wedding to Ryan Boyajian because Dawson was unable to attend. Perhaps that dream ceremony on the beach is a possibility now that her son is closer to home.
