Bravo just announced a three-part limited series with Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Heather Gay, where she’ll take on the religion that once ruled her life. Bravo has a three-part limited series with Heather Gay on the way
Throughout her journey on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Heather has been peeling back the layers of Mormonism. As she grappled with the decision to leave the church, she brought fans along for her journey, and now, she’s ready to shine an even bigger light on the inner workings of the secretive church.
“The things I learned while we were filming this shocked me to my core,” the RHOSLC star says in the first look at Surviving Mormonism with Heather Gay. “The real secret lives are much darker, deeper, and more tragic.”
According to Bravo’s announcement, the three-part series will explore the “secrets and sins” behind the Mormon church. Throughout each part, they will uncover “the dark history” behind the religion and what goes on behind closed doors.
“In each hour-long episode, Heather has impactful conversations with abuse survivors, ex-Mormons, and former LDS church leaders,” the press release explained. “As Heather reflects on her own departure from the church, Surviving Mormonism delves into outdated and controversial practices and empowers victims to share their experiences to bring awareness and enact change.”
Surviving Mormonism with Heather Gay premieres on Tuesday, November 11, at 9:15/8:15c. The first episode airs on Bravo, and the remaining episodes will be available exclusively on Peacock the following day.
