Dancing with the Stars Season 34 is well underway. The season kicked off with fourteen celebrity and pro couples, and is now down to only eight. While every season of DWTS is unique, Season 34 has truly been special. This season has attracted thousands of new fans, and the show’s social media presence is now bigger than ever. There are several factors that have made Season 34 extremely memorable. If the season continues to blow viewers away, it could go down as one of the best seasons in DWTS history.

The best part of DWTS is hands down the cast. While every DWTS season features a range of celebs, Season 34 truly features contestants from every walk of life. The stars this season have backgrounds in athletics, film, reality television, music, wildlife conservation, and more! While some seasons have been heavy on certain stars, such as athletes or reality television personalities, Season 34 features a little bit of everything!

Apart from featuring stars from different professions, DWTS Season 34’s cast is diverse in other ways as well. The age range from this season goes from stars in their early 20s to those in their 50s. Furthermore, while some stars such as Dylan Efron became popular recently, others like Danielle Fishel have been in the industry for a while. It’s nice to see stars from different walks of life compete while all going through the same process.

The eliminations on DWTS Season 34 have been shocking and unpredictable

It’s never fun when you can easily predict who’s going home on a certain night. This is one of the reasons why DWTS Season 34 has been so fun to watch, as it’s been extremely unpredictable. The biggest surprise of the season has been Andy Richter, who many viewers predicted would be the first one eliminated. However, six eliminations later, Andy is still in the competition. While Andy has consistently scored at the bottom of the leaderboard, fan votes have kept him safe each week.

The first shocking elimination of the season was Lauren Jauregui. After receiving a low score during TikTok night, she was eliminated despite many viewers anticipating that she would make the finale. The next week on Disney Night, Hilaria Baldwin was sent home after receiving their best scores yet. While Hilaria’s technique was strong, her casting was controversial, and she didn’t have enough votes to stay.

On Halloween Night, some viewers were shocked yet again when Jen Affleck was sent home. While Jen had dropped to the bottom of the leaderboard, some fans expected her to be safe after her Taylor Swift-inspired routine. Every week, some viewers are confident that Andy will be eliminated. However, Jen’s elimination goes to show that you never know what to expect this season. While it’s been somewhat controversial, it has made Season 34 an incredibly fun watch.

The top of the leaderboard is constantly changing on DWTS Season 34

Another exciting aspect of DWTS Season 34 has been the ever-changing leaderboard. On many previous DWTS seasons, one or two stars have held the top of the leaderboard all season long. During Season 34, however, several celebs have had their time at the top. This makes the season even more competitive, which makes the dances even more thrilling to watch.

After the season premiere, Whitney Leavitt and Robert Irwin tied at the top of the leaderboard with 15 out of 20. The next week, however, Jordan Chiles and Jen joined them at the top with a four-way tie of 22 out of 30. During TikTok Night, Whitney and Jordan tied for first once again.

Two weeks later, on Dedication Night, Dylan surprised viewers by snagging the top score of the night with a 36 out of 40. He had been steadily scoring in the middle of the pack, so this was a huge victory for him. During Halloween Night, the dynamic shifted yet again when Alix Earle beat out her competition with a 39 out of 40. The competition is intense this season, and no one is guaranteed a spot at the top of the leaderboard. DWTS isn’t as exciting when it’s predictable, so hopefully the dynamics continue to surprise us.
