Rob Rausch is having a pop culture moment as the winner of Season 4 of The Traitors. He was recruited by host Alan Cumming on his first day in the castle, along with former Real Housewives stars Lisa Rinna and Candiace Dillard Bassett. However, when the tide turned against Lisa, Rob abandoned the trio’s pact and voted to banish her.
Once Lisa was gone, Candiace and Rob turned on each other. However, Candiace’s argument against Rob fell flat, and she was voted out. Then, Rob recruited singer Eric Nam to join him.
Meanwhile, Love Island alum Maura Higgins fully believed that Rob was a Faithful. The two were allies in the castle, and Maura agreed to vote out Tara Lipinski at the Fire of Truth. However, Rob had to pinky swear to banish his fellow Traitor, Eric.
Of course, if a Traitor remained in the game, they would win the entire $220,800 prize. When Rob revealed that he was actually a Traitor, Maura was shocked. Unfortunately for Maura, she thought that she won the prize with another Faithful. Oops! Still, Rob gifted Maura the pricey Birkin bag that she wanted as an apology.
Rob Rausch is one of the reality TV greats and could do more shows

Of course, The Traitors wasn’t Rob’s first foray into reality TV. The snake wrangler appeared on our screens as part of the dating show, Love Island USA. He appeared in Seasons 5 and 6 of the series. During Season 6, it was tough to determine if Rob was a villain or a hero in the villa.
Still, he was offered the opportunity to appear on the show’s spinoff, Love Island: Beyond the Villa. The series followed former Islanders as they lived their best life in Los Angeles. Thankfully, Rob declined and decided to don a Traitor’s cloak instead. And he didn’t decline because Leah Kateb, with whom he shared a romance, joined the series. Instead, Rob said, “It just didn’t make sense; it was inauthentic to me.”
Of course, Rob and his signature overalls are a hot commodity following his Traitors’ win. After all, producers want to give the people what they want. And obviously, the people want more Rob. So, after his legendary exploits in the castle, which reality show should Rob do next?
Survivor
If there is one show that seems like a natural fit for Rob, it is Survivor. The Alabama native is a snake wrangler and enjoys the outdoors. Surviving in the jungle would be a breeze! I feel that Rob would be a real asset at camp and wouldn’t shirk his share of responsibilities. In addition, he would do incredibly well in challenges. He is physically strong and is also a good swimmer, as we saw when he jumped from a helicopter into the Scottish loch.
Plus, as viewers saw in Traitors, he is friendly and likable. Rob manages to charm everyone, which is a huge bonus in any type of competition reality show. His social game would be amazing, as he easily creates deep bonds with people.
Meanwhile, fans witnessed his strategic thinking and ability to adapt on the fly during his time in the castle. If there is one show that seems tailor-made for Rob, it is this one. I hope that Survivor host Jeff Probst grabs his phone to book Rob for an upcoming season.
Dancing with the Stars
Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars welcomed a cast member from Season 3 of The Traitors to compete in the ballroom. Dylan Efron, who won Season 3 along with three other Faithfuls, hit the dance floor for DWTS Season 34. Dylan and his partner, Daniella Karagach, came in fourth place. For someone with zero dance or performance experience, that is truly impressive.
Of course, Dylan and Rob share some similarities. Both excelled at challenges, were well-liked, and were fan favorites. In addition, Rob played Traitors with DWTS pro Mark Ballas, and the two were fairly tight.
And, finally, the campaign to bring Rob to the ballroom was already kicked off by DWTS pro Ezra Sosa. During a Dancing with the Stars tour stop in the Big Apple, Ezra and his partner, Hailey Bills, turned their backs to the crowd and faced the camera. Then, a smiling Ezra unfolded a paper that read, “Rob Rausch 4 DWTS.” After Hailey gave him some hilarious side-eye, Ezra stuck his tongue out at the camera.
While we don’t know if Rob can cha-cha, his popularity could help him go far in the competition. And many contestants slip on their dancing shoes without any previous experience. Fingers crossed that we see Rob, in some bedazzled overalls, dancing the salsa in the ballroom.
Extracted
Once again, a competition series like Extracted could be perfect for Rob. For this Fox series, which leveled up the difficulty for its second season, amateur survivalists are stranded in the wilderness. They must battle hunger, extremely difficult conditions, and stay safe from wildlife like bears.
Meanwhile, each survivalist has two team members at headquarters. These teams watch their survivalists on remote cameras while competing and strategizing to win supplies for their loved ones. If it becomes too much for a survivalist, they can ask to be extracted and will be removed from the game. The final survivalist standing and their team wins $250,000.
Since Rob is no stranger to the outdoors, he has the potential to do well on this show. I have a feeling that the solitude, which haunts many players, wouldn’t be an obstacle for Rob. However, there is no social game or real strategy involved for the survivalists, so Rob wouldn’t be able to use all the tools in his reality TV toolbox. Still, if Rob were cast on Extracted, I would bet on him being one of the last survivalists standing.
The Traitors is available to stream on Peacock.
