This year’s season saw a washed-up Hollywood actor getting removed from the house for problematic behavior, and Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd took home the prize. For next year, producers are allegedly looking to bring a shady Real Housewives star into the fold, and it’s an absolutely brilliant idea.
Real Housewives of London breakout star Amanda Cronin could join CBB 2026
Rumor has it that producers are eyeing Real Housewives of London breakout star Amanda Cronin for the next edition of CBB. If this happens, get ready for some chaotic, must-see television.
ITV has already confirmed that Celebrity Big Brother will return next year, and The Sun got the scoop on who is already in talks to compete. According to their sources, Amanda is at the top of the list, along with Junaid Ahmed from The Only Way Is Essex.
Amanda just wrapped a dramatic first season of Real Housewives of London. In case you missed it, she and Juliet Angus derailed their reunion taping within the first ten minutes because they couldn’t stop fighting. If she brings that attitude to the CBB, it could be a blessing or a curse. We’re not sure.
If Amanda does enter the competition, she would follow in the footsteps of other Real Housewives, like Teddi Mellencamp, Kandi Burruss, and Cynthia Bailey. A Real Housewife has yet to take home the win, but we can already imagine Amanda running around as Head of Household, yelling, “Back to Paddington! Back to Paddington!”
Of course, it’s still really early into the casting process for CBB, so we have to take this rumor with a grain of salt. However, we’ve got all our fingers crossed that ITV can make it happen.
