RHOA Star Kelli Ferrell’s Ex-Husband Chuvalo Mark Ferrell Files Lawsuit; Claims Business Was Taken Unlawfully

Another lawsuit against Kelli Ferrell has hit the docket. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is battling a handful of lawsuits at the moment. The latest comes from her ex-husband, Chuvalo “Mark” Ferrell.

He and his lawyers have been firing off a list of grievances for the past few months. Their latest revolves around the business he and Kelli started together, Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles.

According to Mark, his stake in the company was unlawfully taken from him throughout their divorce proceedings. Now, he wants money, and he wants a lot of it.

Atlanta News First reported the details on Marc’s latest legal filing. It accuses Kelli and various Rockdale County officials of contributing to the loss of his business and home. He claims he was the sole founder of Nana’s Chicken-N-Waffles, which just opened up its second location earlier this year.

In the lawsuit filed on October 27, Mark said that Kelli and Rockdale County officials engaged in “civil rights violations, false imprisonment, and systemic misconduct that stripped [him] of his business, his home, and his constitutional rights.”

Mark claimed that the business was originally in his name before Kelli ever got into the picture. When he and Kelli went through their divorce, Mark said that there was a “willful campaign of fraud, perjury, theft, administrative collusion, and intentional defamation” that allowed Kelli to take sole ownership of the business.

For example, Mark said one judge threatened him with jail time if he didn’t transfer ownership of his food truck over to Kelli. He called out another judge who allegedly has a personal relationship with Kelli. Allegedly, she would advance their case and ignore “defects in service or due process,” all while “promoting Kelli’s business interests” outside of the courtroom.

Mark’s complaint explains that due to Kelli and the court conspiring against him, he lost his source of income and his home. He’s now asking for $200 million in damages, attorneys’ fees, and any “additional relief the court deems appropriate.”

Of course, this is just one of the lawsuits Mark has in motion right now. He has also sued Bravo for $200 million, claiming that the network aired “lies” about him during Kelli’s debut season. He also accused producers of putting his children on the show without his permission.

It’s a claim that has put Kelli’s peach in peril, and she hired Phaedra Parks to help her out in court. With this latest lawsuit, it looks like she’s going to spend all of Season 17 in a courthouse.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta is streaming on Peacock, and on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
