The Mary Cosby cult accusations have just resurfaced in a major way. As Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City continues, TLC is preparing to drop a bombshell documentary exploring the inner workings of Mary’s church.
The trailer looks damning, painting Mary and Robert Cosby, Sr. as some sort of nefarious cult leaders. However, it’s unclear if there’s anything that will come out of this that will shake her fan-favorite status on Bravo.

Just a few weeks ago, Mary did an interview where she revisited those rumors about her church being a cult. She blamed Jen Shah for putting that out into the world, and she said that the accusations made her reconsider her involvement with RHOSLC. With that in mind, you can only imagine how she must be feeling about this documentary from TLC.
TMZ first reported the news of the doc, along with the trailer. The sneak peek into the three-part documentary shows a handful of former insiders of Faith Temple Pentecostal Church discussing Mary’s unusual marital arrangement, along with the way they operate the organization. The documentary will feature interviews with former church members, along with a cult expert.
In addition to those interviews, the documentary will show “never-before-heard” recordings of Mary and Robert’s sermons. It’s all an attempt to uncover the truth about the rumors about Mary. According to the outlet, the documentary wants to understand the lack of “accountability” from Mary and Robert over the years. Meanwhile, some Bravo fans can’t get enough of her.
The Cult of The Real Housewife premieres Thursday, January 1, on TLC, and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City continues on Bravo, every Tuesday at 8/7c.
