Teddi Mellencamp Gives Health Update Amid Cancer Battle (November 2025)

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Teddi Mellencamp has been through a lot over the past few years.

The mom of three has faced multiple surgeries, long stretches of treatment, and months of uncertainty while sharing her health journey with fans. Earlier this year, doctors diagnosed her melanoma as stage 4 after discovering several tumors in her brain and lungs. She’s also navigating a divorce from her husband, Edwin Arroyave, after 13 years of marriage, which has made this chapter of her life even more challenging.

Despite it all, Teddi’s stayed open about both the hard days and the hopeful moments that come with battling cancer. Now, after everything she’s endured, she says her latest scans brought news that completely took her by surprise. It’s giving her and her family a new reason to hope.

Teddi first shared the update on the October 3 episode of her podcast, Two Ts in a Pod, revealing that her latest scans showed “no detectable cancer.” “When they told me, I was in such shock. I was like numb,” she said.

Teddi recently explained to Radar Online that while she is grateful, the fight isn’t over. “I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy,” she said. She added that she’ll continue treatment for another year and isn’t in remission yet. “The way the doctors said it works, it’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered in remission.”

Teddi also talked about her daily challenges in an Instagram Story. “Some days are definitely better than others,” she wrote. “And you don’t see all the times I’m laying in bed unable to do much.” She added that she’s learning to rest without guilt and takes her podcast with Tamra Judge “week by week.”

Even with the ups and downs, Teddi remains focused on healing and gratitude. She recently thanked her dad, John Mellencamp, for supporting her through recovery. On October 24, she posted a photo of him with her daughters on Instagram. “It’s been 10 months since my brain surgery and I am so grateful for @johnmellencamp for continuously being there for me and my family the entire time.”

With clear scans and continued support from her family, Teddi remains focused on her recovery and ongoing treatment.

Reality Tea continues to send Teddi every best wish.
