Charlie Sheen and Ex Dolly Fox Are ‘Really Close Again’ After Memoir Release — Source

Through all of his struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, Charlie Sheen could always depend on the loyalty of an old flame.

Years of drinking and drug use isolated the Two and a Half Men star from several people for years. While he and Dolly Fox haven’t been on very bad terms since the release of his memoir The Book of Sheen, he and his ex-girlfriend Dolly are becoming good friends.

Charlie’s sobriety has enabled him to regain the trust of numerous people in his life. Reports indicate the two have “become really close again.” Last weekend, Charlie introduced people to her during a Q&A at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for his Alive On Stage Show.

Although there may no longer be romance between the two, there is still a great deal of harmony and respect between Charlie and Dolly. “It’s been relaxing for him because he can totally be himself, and he also trusts her,” a source told Page Six.

Dolly has described Charlie as her “first love.” She adds that she’s proud to see him so strong, focused, and most of all, he’s kind to himself these days. “He was so self-destructive, and it was hard to watch,” Dolly said during his years of substance issues.

While some of Charlie’s bonds with his family took a hit due to his former lifestyle, he has had support from the likes of Dolly. Meanwhile, Charlie and his ex-wife, Denise Richards, are also on better terms, with the latter recently admitting, “I still love him.”

When Charlie and Dolly were dating in the 80s, Charlie claims that soon-to-be US President Bill Clinton was hitting on her.

Charlie’s documentary, starring Charlie Sheen, was released on Netflix in September.
