The first thing we have to discuss, though, which I really do not want to discuss, is Kyle Richards and Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave allowing Portia and Slade to be models for a ‘kids makeup line’ called “Petite & Pretty.” Which sounds like how a cougar would describe themselves on Tinder, and is being marketed to trailer parks in Alabama where people dream of turning their daughters into Honey Boo Boo.
This week’s episode of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hillsoffered a little bit of everything. An impractical designer car, Erika Jayne kneed in the head(!), an ugly political debate and the story of the courageous survival of Lisa Rinna’s mother Lois Rinna at the hands of a serial killer. And for good measure, surprise cameo appearances by Kim Richardsand Kathy Hilton. Whew! It seems like Bravo threw in everything but the kitchen sink. Only because they probably couldn’t salvage it from Lisa Vanderpump’s high end kitchen remodel!
One thing we did not see, however, was LVP interacting with the rest of the cast. She was a no show at Camille Grammer’s bridal shower and the rest of the ladies, of course, questioned her absence. These days, it seems that no one from the cast is in Camp Vanderpump. However, one former Housewife is showing her love for LVP and she isn’t shy about expressing her opinions about the rest of the cast, either.
Last night was the weirdest, most insanely random episode of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills ever! This is RHOBH without a common enemy to direct all their wrath and delusions onto. I dunno — I loved it!
Dorit Kemsley shows up in a redneck tuxedo to Denise Richards‘ house to drink double vodka tonics at 2 in the afternoon and talk motherhood. (Denise had water since she had to pick her daughter up from school) Ha! Motherhood was about 2% of their conversation the rest was all Lisa Vanderpump. Denise liked Dorit immediately when she met her, and found her very warm and kind. That’s Dorit’s ruse — everyone feels that way about her. Initially.
Denise counsels Hollywood neophyte Dorit about handling close friends betraying you to the tabloids. When Denise was going through her divorce she actually used to run sting operations on confidantes by sharing something with them to see if it would wind up in the press, and that was how she knew who was a true friend. Despite LVP ruining her reputation, eviscerating her belief in friends, and making her question all of humanity, Dorit still wants their friendship back. Denise believes that – with time – Dorit can eventually forgive her.
This season, two other former Housewives are coming back for at least one appearance. And they happen to be two of the most talked about-and polarizing-cast members of any of the Housewife shows-former child star Kim Richards and volatile, often-acts-like-a-child Brandi Glanville. And current cast member Erika Jayne recently shared her thoughts about the return of Kim and Brandi.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is delivering big time this season. Not only is “puppy gate” still causing tons of drama, but Lisa Rinna is back to her pot-stirring ways. She tweeted a birthday message to co-star (and sparring partner) Lisa Vanderpump. It was a picture of a cupcake with some pills. Of course, Rinna was referencing her own joke “bag of pills.” Unfortunately, some fans thought that Rinna was referencing Lisa’s brother’s overdose death. Rinna said that she didn’t know that Lisa’s brother died from an overdose. That is so awkward.
She doesn’t care about she’s wearing, putting on makeup, or having her hair done. She also doesn’t care about starting drama for no reason. And, surprisingly enough, this actually works. Denise is not boring at all. Denise is just a breath of fresh air on the show. She is just not like the other ladies for many obvious reasons, but also for an unexpected one. Denise claims that her face is completely natural. A Real Housewife without plastic surgery!?
Wasn’t last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills a great episode? Although last week’s dramatic fight between Lisa Vanderpumpand Kyle Richards still lingered in the air, it was nice to have a show that was a little more low-key. You can’t have high drama each week-or you would never appreciate it when the good stuff actually happens!
For the ladies, it was all about celebrating. Lisa was the guest of honor at her own birthday party, with Denise Richards as the only invited Housewife guest. Most of the other ladies were at a get together at Beauty & Essex for Denise’s recent wedding-a post bachelorette shower, if you will. And Lisa Rinna tried to do damage control regarding an insensitive tweet she sent out to LVP for her birthday. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave believes that the tweet was all an innocent mistake-but was it?
Every week I tune in to Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and every week I say, “Please let there be no more Lucy stuff… Please let the dog crap be pooper scooped and done with… NoMoreDogs, NoMoreDogs, NoMoreDogs!” Aaaaannnd every week my hopes are dashed!
The women are shocked by Lisa’s reactions. Really? “That’s not friendship,” scoffs Erika Girardi, “that’s bullshit.” Does Erika have friends she doesn’t pay to stuff her into latex and other “pat the puss” endeavors? How would she even know the difference between friendship and bullshit? And to that I say, it is bullshit that Kyle barged over to her s0-called friend’s house, a day before her birthday, to accuse her of lying. BULLSHIT.
