Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, were present at Kris Jenner‘s star-studded 70th birthday celebration. Kim Kardashian and her mom shared photos of the couple, along with other celebrities, from the party on Instagram. However, both of them soon deleted the photographs that included the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Now, an expert has claimed that the removal of these photos was not “accidental,” further talking about the intentionality of the action. For the star mother-daughter duo, the pictures of the Sussexes reportedly felt like “more trouble than it’s worth.”
For Kardashian-Jenners, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were ‘more trouble than worth’ — expert
Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner surprised fans when they removed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s photos from their Instagram carousels, which were taken at the momager’s 70th birthday bash. The Daily Express US reported that Michael Levine, a media consultant, explained the significance of the photo removal.
The expert interpreted, “The quiet disappearance of Meghan and Harry from Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian’s birthday posts speaks volumes.” Levine believes that “in Hollywood, images are currency,” adding, “When that currency is pulled, it’s rarely accidental.” He further explained, “The couple’s relentless quest for relevance continues to collide with a public increasingly fatigued by their perpetual narrative of grievance.”
According to Levine, Kardashian and Jenner might have felt that posting Markle and Harry’s pictures caused them way too much drama: “If two of the world’s most influential image-makers decide that featuring the Sussexes is more trouble than it’s worth.” He continued, “That’s not a glitch — that’s a verdict.” The expert further added, “In the modern visibility economy,” the deletion of the pictures “may be the most honest feedback of all.”
However, neither the Duke and Duchess of Sussex nor the Kardashian-Jenner clan has made any comments on the matter yet.
