Andy Cohen recently opened up about wanting Taylor Swift to appear on his Bravo show, WWHL. During a Q&A session with fans, the host mentioned that he would love for the singer-songwriter to sit down for an interview on his show. However, many think it could be quite awkward, given Cohen’s friendship with Swift’s ex-boyfriend John Mayer.

During a Q&A session with fans at BravoCon 2025, held at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen expressed his desire to have none other than Taylor Swift appear on his show. In a short clip of the moment posted on TikTok, the host seems to be mentioning to fans why Swift never said yes. “She has not said yes before. I don’t know, some people consider me a little dangerous.” Further, asking fans to help make it happen, he added, “I would love it. Tell her people.”
One good reason for not appearing on WWHL yet could be the pop icon avoiding any awkward moments, as Cohen and John Mayer are very close friends. Swift and Mayer were previously in a short-lived relationship in 2010, which reportedly lasted for about three months. At the time, Swift was 19 while Mayer was 32.
Later in October 2010, Taylor Swift released her studio album Speak Now, which featured a song titled Dear John. She reportedly wrote this song about the New Light singer, and also addressed it during an Eras Tour show in 2023.
Just before the release of her Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) album in 2023, during a show, the 35-year-old asked her fans not to bully John Mayer online. Before singing Dear John at the show, she told her fans, “I’m 33 years old, I don’t care about anything that happened to me when I was 19 except for the songs that I wrote and the memories we made together.”
