The Next Gen NYC group is still getting over a breakup. Specifically, Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy officially called it quits after three years in October 2025. At first, it seemed like it was a breakup without bad blood (for once). Ariana was the first to break the news on social media in a short statement. After that, it only took a few seconds for the chaos to begin.
Hudson released a statement of his own, alluding to drama with a message about “both sides”. Then came the bold rumor that their split was because of their co-star Gia Giudice. It’s been a real hot mess, and who would’ve thought that the person smoothing things over would be Ariana’s mother Kim Zolciak.

Kim was a panelist at the recent 2025 BravoCon. It was during the event that she addressed her daughter’s split.
“I love them. But they need to grow. They’ve been together on and off for 10 years and they’re just going in different directions,” she explained during the convention.
The Bravo alum also let it be known that the two are just as close as they’ve always been.
“They’re friends. I don’t ever see them not being friends to be honest. They’re best friends actually.”
Nevertheless, the two may feel too uncomfortable to film together. The second season has supposedly already started production in New York, and Hudson is nowhere near. In fact, he looks to be enjoying spending his time focusing on himself in Atlanta. But hey, Bravo is known for its on-screen surprises. Maybe Hudson will pop up in Season 2 for a dramatic season finale? Only time will tell.
