If you didn’t know, the relationship between Brittany Cartwright and Jax Taylor is officially over. While they’ve been separated for nearly two years, their divorce isn’t finalized yet. It was supposed to be completed in June 2025, but months later, the two exes are still legally married.
Their divorce proceedings are clearly taking forever, and that’s not always the case. In fact, their co-stars on The Valley, former partners Jesse Lally and Michelle Saniei, have already surpassed them. After Michelle filed for divorce last year, their divorce has already been finished.
How much long will it be until these two can say the same? Brittany just gave an update.
Brittany Cartwright is “praying” her divorce from Jax Taylor is finalized in December 2025
Brittany was a part of a panel for The Valley stars at BravoCon 2025. It was during the conversation that she gave some insight into her divorce to Jax. And to put it plainly, she’s “praying” for the best.
“Things are happening with Jax. It was supposed to be Oct. 15, and it’s been pushed back. Fingers crossed,” she shared during the convention.
And, with court closures during the holiday season approaching, chances are that this could potentially be pushed until the new year.
The bright side is that she doesn’t have to share a screen with him anymore. The reality TV star said that while they are still in court, she hasn’t had to deal with him while filming Season 3. Yep, you heard it right. Jax hasn’t found a way back on the show since stepping down.
“It was great to not be harassed all season long, it was nice to have a break and just be able to focus on me and my son. It was a great experience.”
