More details have emerged regarding Porsha Williams and her doomed flight home from BravoCon. You previously heard how the Real Housewives of Atlanta star wound up on the FBI’s radar after an in-flight incident between her and another passenger. Now that we’re seeing the body cam footage, it’s really starting to seem like Porsha came face-to-face with a Karen.
Porsha Williams had two separate witnesses to back her up
Entertainment Tonight got the bodycam footage, showing the moment that police grilled Porsha over what went down. According to the RHOA star, she was watching Instagram videos on her phone before take-off when another passenger complained.
Porsha explained, “She turned to me out of nowhere and she said, ‘So you’re going to make me have to listen to that the whole flight?’”
From there, things escalated. Porsha said that after telling the woman she could have been nicer with her request, the lady called her a “bitch” and tried to whip out her phone to record. In the process, she dropped her phone in the aisle but accused Porsha of knocking it out of her hand.
As Porsha calmly recounted her experience to the cops, multiple passengers who saw what happened rushed to her defense. They all blamed the other woman for being the aggressor in the situation and insisted that things didn’t get physical. Meanwhile, the woman Porsha argued with shared a totally different version of events.
When the police went to speak with the woman, her demeanor was anything but calm. The woman, who is 70 years old, claimed that Porsha escalated the situation on the plane. While Porsha said it all happened before the plane took off, her accuser said that Porsha “assaulted” her while the plane was in the air.
“The plane was taking off. That’s why the flight attendants couldn’t come help me from her beating because they had to be buckled in,” she told the cops.
According to this lady, Porsha put her hand to her face and then knocked her phone to the ground. The wildest part? The woman went on to say that she was “afraid” that Porsha would have her “killed” in the aftermath of the drama.
Meanwhile, the FBI is investigating the incident. They’ll be the ones to determine if anything criminal occurred. Porsha’s lawyer released a statement saying that she’s willing to cooperate in their investigation, but this all seems like a whole lot of nothing.
