When Southern Charm star Austen Kroll found himself at a crossroads with his then-girlfriend, Audrey Pratt, his ex, Madison LeCroy, lent him her ear. Their friendship (by far) is now one of the funniest parts of this series.
Austen and Madison had an on-and-off relationship from 2019 to 2020. But Madison was ready to grow up, whereas, like most of the males on his cast, Austen wasn’t quite as eager to settle down and commit to anything serious. So, Madison moved on. She is now a married mother of two, or maybe three, since she remains a constant source of advice for her former love, Austen.
Austen Kroll says Madison LeCroy knows him “pretty damn well”
Last weekend, Austen and his cast appeared on the “It’s All About to Go South” panel at BravoCon. Here, Austen spoke more about his breakup with Audrey. Their split is a huge part of his Season 11 storylines, he admitted.
As he explained, “When cameras picked up, we’d been dating for about a year and a half at that point. And so, questions begin to [form], like, ‘Hey, what does the future look like?'” This concept is taxing, though. So, Austen turned to Madison for advice.
After all, Madison is now married. She is also a mother of two. If anyone knows what future storylines look like, it’s her.
“I open up to Madison about it, because she knows me pretty damn well and can tell me things that I suck at, which I appreciate,” he said. As the trailer for Season 11 further proved, Madison stood in his corner during filming, acting as his personal butler of advice. While sharing a meal, we see Austen admitting that his relationship with Audrey was “easy.” Knowing Austen as she does, Madison asks him the one question that he couldn’t seem to formulate on his own: “Do you feel like you’re bored?”
And when he and Audrey eventually parted ways, Madison remained in his corner. From lovers to “sisters…”
