Tara Reid spent part of the weekend in the hospital following a frightening scene at a hotel. The actress famous for the American Pie franchise was on a stretcher and taken away by paramedics. One of the sex symbols in the late 1990s alleges that someone slipped a drug in her drink, rendering her unconscious.
The actress had checked into her hotel room on Saturday evening. After that, she reportedly went down for a drink at the hotel bar. That is when things apparently went wrong.

There are many party scenes in the American Pie movies that turn out of control. An impromptu meeting with some YouTubers in the hotel bar may be to blame for Tara’s condition taking a turn for the worse this past weekend.
She recently told TMZ that one of the YouTubers she bumped into had a smoke with her outside. Upon returning, Tara claims that her drink was covered with a napkin that wasn’t there before. According to her, the rest is a blur, with her next memory being of her in the hospital. The alleged incident took place just outside of Chicago.
Tara has dealt with her share of substance abuse issues in the past. However, she insists that she only had that one drink on the night in question. A witness at the time claimed that Tara was shouting, “You don’t know who I am. I am famous. I’m an actress.” For the moment, Tara has not filed a police report. The status of an investigation is thus unclear.
Two years ago, Tara was a part of the show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. She apparently had to push hard to motivate Tom Sandoval during that show.
Her movie Dr. Quarantine earned Tara a Best Actress Award at the 2025 Chandler International Film Festival. She’s scheduled to star in a new movie called Air Force Z, with a release date yet to be determined.
