On The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Britani Bateman and her boyfriend Jared Osmond are constantly on-again/off-again. It seems like Brit is always making yet another “announcement” about their yoyo of a relationship. One minute they’re together; the next minute they’re done. It really makes everyone’s heads spin.
Of course, the ladies of Salt Lake are way over hearing about the ever-changing status of Britani and Jared’s relationship. So on the yacht trip/crossover with Below Deck Down Under, Bronwyn Newport decided to play a prank, assisted by Meredith Marks.
Before the trip, Jared had gifted Britani a stuffed toy unicorn named Uni. Uni contained recorded messages of love from Jared for Brit to enjoy while she was away. But Bronwyn decided to kidnap Uni and toss him overboard. Fortunately, a crew member saw Uni floating in the drink, rescued him and returned the soggy toy to his owner.
Britani Bateman says Jared Osmond is “a total angel”
On December 2, Britani was a guest on The John Hill Show on SiriusXM. Naturally, John brought up the Jared of it all, since that’s pretty much the only thing Britani ever talks about.
When John mentioned Jared’s name, Britani immediately lit up and sighed, “A total angel.”
When the host expressed skepticism, Brit added, “Don’t let the show fool you, because he is an angel to me.”
While John remained unconvinced, she added, “You’ll have to meet him in person,” and he agreed to to give Jared “a fair shot.”
“Please do,” the RHOSLC friend urged. “On a show like this, you only see a slice, and they always … choose the diciest, most dramatic slice … The last thing anybody saw … was him calling me, what did he say? ‘Unstable,’ whatever. But he’s apologized for that profusely. He’s like, ‘Gosh, that was such a jerky thing to say.’ We’ve been broken up since that episode.”
“[But] I have a tendency to give people way more chances than they deserve,” she added. “It took me eight months of him proving to me that he was worthy and ready and fully committed.”
“Are you broken up now though?” John asked.
“No, we’re back together,” the actress/singer confessed. “I’m so happy and feel calm and peaceful. He’s my rock. I mean, we are each other’s person.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, streaming on Peacock the next day.
