Craig Conover is currently swimming in a rather incestuous dating pool this season on Southern Charm. His split with Paige DeSorbo is yesterday’s news. Yet, her likeness is still sounding in Season 11. You see, Paige and two of his other exes all made similar moves towards the end of their relationships with Craig. So, here goes Craig, forming a new, albeit cute, conspiracy theory on Southern Charm.
Craig Conover’s last three exes all got cats before their split
Craig recently connected all his dots during Episode 3. A pattern has emerged, and so far, this pattern has resulted in the death of his love life, on more than one occasion. So, when Austen Kroll called, letting Craig know that he was essentially joining in on this pattern, a warning alarm went off in Craig’s brain. Craig does not want to see Austen unprepared, so his latest conspiracy theory flew.
During filming, Austen had a girlfriend. But after he revealed his intentions to adopt two precious kittens, Craig warned, “Austen, that’s the kiss of death!” As Craig explained, “My last three ex-girlfriends have gotten a cat right before breaking up with me.”
Then, a montage played, reminding viewers whom Craig was speaking about. Paige was in there, along with his other exes, Naomie Olindo and Natalie Hegnauer. And yes, each of these women adopted a fluffly, trustworthy cat, right before ending their relationships with Craig.
“I was like, ‘Oh, cool, we’re one happy family,'” Craig quipped. “And they’re like, ‘Actually, this is a family of two.'” Ouch. Sick (and funny) burn, ladies.
Austen sighed, admitting that he was also raising his fur babies by himself. He and his then-girlfriend were already on the rocks. And now, they are no more. Craig’s newest conspiracy theory might have some teeth after all…
