If you haven’t heard, Porsha Williams has a new partner in her life. Yep, on the heels of her truly chaotic divorce from Simon Guobadia, she is back off the market. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum’s new beau is a woman named Patrice “Sway” McKinney.
The two made their relationship Instagram official a few weeks ago for Thanksgiving. They’ve been together in the public eye ever since. How has their romance been now that it’s out in the open? Porsha just gave an important update.

Porsha recently spoke about her new relationship with Patrice. During the conversation she had nothing but amazing things to say about Patrice.
“I think the best thing is when you find someone that you can see yourself in, and you guys match, and everything is comfortable, it’s warm,” she gushed to PEOPLE.
The reality TV star also reflected on this romance being her coming out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
“I didn’t want to hide any parts of me, I felt if I did hide it and it had to be caught somewhere, it just wouldn’t feel authentic. I want to live in my truth, and so in doing that, I have found someone who I really enjoy getting to know, and it’s been great.”
It seems like the question of if this is just a fling or not doesn’t apply anymore. They seem like a happy couple!
The next question on our minds is RHOA Season 17. After all, filming for the upcoming season supposedly wrapped in November 2025. Since this was the same month as Porsha and Sway’s hard launch, there’s a good chance they shared the screen together. Only time will tell.
