On December 17, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star (for now, at least) Meredith Marks visited Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Of course, the return plane ride back from Greece is still a hot topic. While Meredith insists that she only talked to Lisa Barlow, watched a movie and took a nap, the rest of the cast remembers it differently. Everyone except Lisa recalls Meredith berating Britani Bateman for the entire journey.
But Meredith is sticking to her story. However, Bronwyn Newport won’t let it go and name-checked Meredith the previous night on Peacock’s first-ever NFL simulcast.
Meredith Marks calls out Bronwyn Newport’s “sealed” case
Virtual WWHL guest Lizzie from Nashville asked Meredith. “What are your thoughts on Bronwyn saying that she would bench you for the next season?”
Lizzie was referring to the Reality Hot Seat NFL crossover on Sunday Night Football the previous night. Bronwyn and Heather Gay were both on hand for color commentary during the game. When Bronwyn fielded a question about who she’d leave on the sidelines for RHOSLC Season 7, she chose the jewelry designer as her top pick to “bench.”
“Yeah, I believe the reasoning behind it was that I don’t share enough about my life,” Meredith told Lizzie, once again avoiding the elephant in the room. “But um, she has things that she claims are sealed and she can’t talk about. So, I don’t do that. I answer the question.”
Nice dodge, Mere, but you didn’t really answer the question. Reportedly, the real issue is that many of her castmates no longer want to film with Meredith. Apparently, several of the women have issues with the OG and don’t trust her after that her repeated denials of her behavior. They all saw what they saw, no matter how much she pretends it didn’t happen.
