Welcome back, Below Deck Mediterranean fans! Last week, Gael temporarily returned to filming. Now, Nathan is deadset on winning her back, which only creates further problems on the deck team. Can Nathan have his cake and still lead his team fairly? Not according to one of his deckhands, as seen on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 13, “The Poo-Petrator.”

What happened in Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 13?

Max already feels frustrated with Nathan. But this week, his frustrations heighten, thanks to the moves Nathan makes once Gael returns. Speaking of annoyed feelings, the interior team finds a gag-worthy surprise awaiting them near the drain of one of their charter guest’s showers. So now, just for kicks, they have a disgusting whodunit mystery to solve.

Nathan greets Gael with a long hug. It’s been 10 months since they’ve seen each other, but Gael is now ready to “move forward” in a “platonic” manner. Aesha introduces Gael to the crew. “Ugh, Gael’s here,” Kizzi quips.

In his confessional, Joe admits that he and Gael “are not in a good place.” Gael doesn’t respect him, he thinks. But Gael likely cares little. Instead, she has been focusing on her career, and she is coming back with new skills, including “dive master” and “master of yacht 200 tons” certifications.

Nathan quickly fills Gael in on Joe’s antics, letting her know that Joe cheated on V with Kizzi. He also admits that he kissed Kizzi. “Don’t make things weird,” Gael says, thankfully laughing.

In her cabin, Cathy and Max cuddle. They are growing very close, which shocks her. But now, new charter guests are coming aboard, and they, like the last guests, have tricky palates, which Josh notes. At the end of their preference sheet meetings, Joe tries to make peace with Gael, but in their interviews, they both admit that they don’t trust each other.

As Joe explains, last season, Gael was with someone else, but still leading Nathan on. “Once a cheater, always a cheater,” Joe says. PRAISE POSEIDON, a producer calls out his hypocrisy. Joe stutters, then argues that this “isn’t the same.”

The next group of charter guests arrives, and at least one woman is into Nathan. However, the weather is poor, so their first night will be spent at the dock, which they thankfully take in stride. As they settle, Nathan and Gael talk. Nathan tells her he loves her, and Gael admits that she hasn’t been okay since their split.

Regardless, Nathan ghosted her last year, and now, her heart is on the fence about trying to date him again. Max watches, annoyed that they aren’t working, like he is.

The guests get ready for their 80s dinner. One notes that a bathroom “smells.” Joe and Gael chat again, and she pokes fun at his antics with women, wondering how many more he plans on hurting.

Daniel, one of the guests, instructs Kizzi to leave his cabin alone for the duration of their charter. The guests sit for dinner, decked out in their 80s best. Kizzi heads to their cabins to start turning them over. But in the “queen bathroom,” she discovers “poo” in the shower drain.

“The smell is diabolical,” Cathy quips, as the entire crew crowds in to see, some gagging. Cathy plays detective, noting that this cabin belongs to Bethany and Joaquin. Meanwhile, Josh needs people to run plates, so Aesha calls, “Focus,” and gets everyone back on track.

Kizzi removes the drain cover, finding an entire poo-log stuffed within. She calls for Aesha, who dry heaves. Bravely, Aesha scoops it out, asking, “Who the f*ck did this?” She then plays a game of Clue, noting that it could be any of these people.

The guests go to bed. Nathan enters Gael’s cabin and asks permission to crawl into her bunk. Gael says yes, but kicks him out shortly after. She isn’t ready to reconnect with him just yet.

In the morning, the yacht finally comes off the dock. V texts. It’s her birthday, so Kizzi texts her back, but guiltily removes her line that offered her “kisses.”

The guests are heading to a beach picnic near a lighthouse. Nathan delegates Joe and Max to go. Max sighs, noting that Nathan isn’t moving fairly. Sure enough, in his confessional, a smiling Nathan admits that he sent the boys away on purpose so that he could spend some alone time with Gael.

On the beach, Joe tells Max that he is going to man up and tell V about his kiss with Kizzi. “Big, big, big, drama,” Max admits in his talking head. He then laughs, knowing how poorly this mess is all about to land.

Cathy receives an urgent text from her mother. She phones her mum, and sadly learns that her mom’s partner, who basically raised her, has passed. She breaks down, leaving this episode hanging on a tragic TO BE CONTINUED note.

Below Deck Mediterranean continues Mondays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
