Chantel Everett is officially an engaged woman! She shared that her girlfriend Ashley Bowen recently popped the question to the surprise of some 90 Day Fiancé fans. Chantel and Ashley had an unconventional start to their relationship; however, it quickly blossomed into something special. Chantel’s engagement has become a big topic of conversation in the 90 Day Fiancé world, where she has been a prominent cast member for quite some time.

On the morning of December 23, Chantel shared with fans on Instagram that Ashley had proposed to her. She happily accepted, and the two are now engaged. Ashley popped the question near a castle in Georgia, a breathtaking location that Chantel shared in the video announcement. Chantel and Ashley’s engagement seems like something straight out of a movie, and we couldn’t be happier for the couple.
Chantel became famous for her rocky relationship with Pedro Jimeno on 90 Day Fiancé
Before she met Ashley, Chantel was well-known for her chaotic relationship with Pedro Jimeno. Chantel met Pedro when she was learning Spanish, and the two formed a fast connection. Eventually, they became engaged, and Chantel brought Pedro to America from the Dominican Republic on a K1 visa. While they had a passionate relationship at first, their relationship got complicated fast. Their families didn’t get along, which put a major strain on their marriage.
Chantel and Pedro constantly found themselves fighting and at odds, and ended up getting divorced. The split was messy and involved allegations of infidelity as well as financial issues. While Chantel and Pedro were one of the most popular couples during the early years of 90 Day Fiancé, their relationship came to a messy end.
Chantel later went on 90 Day: The Single Life and 90 Day: Hunt for Love
After her split from Pedro, Chantel decided that she was ready to find love again. She decided to join 90 Day: The Single Life Season 4, where she set off on a journey to find love. Chantel decided to travel to Greece with a group of her friends to look for her person. While in Greece, Chantel met a man named Giannis, and the two shared a mutual attraction. Chantel and Giannis spent the majority of her trip together, and decided to try long distance. However, after she came back home, things with Giannis eventually fell through.
Shortly after The Single Life, Chantel decided to give love another chance on 90 Day: Hunt for Love. The new show featured 90 Day Fiancé singles as well as singles with no past on reality television. While Chantel flirted with a few men, she didn’t find any lasting connections during Hunt for Love. It turns out that Ashley had been on her mind the entire time.
While on Hunt for Love, Chantel admitted that she had kissed Ashley before coming on the show. Ashley also admitted to having feelings for Chantel, and Chantel eventually realized that she reciprocated the feelings. While Chantel had a good time on Hunt for Love, she ultimately didn’t find love there, but she did find it back home with Ashley.
Chantel ended up finding love with Ashley, although Chantel’s family and fans had concerns
By the time the Hunt for Love Tell All filmed, Chantel and Ashley were officially a couple. At the Tell All, Chantel’s mother Karen, had some thoughts to share on her daughter’s new relationship. Karen revealed that she was friends with Ashley before she knew Chantel. As a result, she believed that Ashley had used her to get close to Chantel. Karen made it clear she wasn’t fully supportive of the relationship, due to some actions on Ashley’s part.
Karen wasn’t the only one concerned about Chantel and Ashley’s relationship. Eagle-eyed viewers discovered that Ashley had previously worked for Sharp Entertainment, a production company for 90 Day Fiancé. They found it strange that Ashley had previously worked for the show and wondered if that was another way she tried to get close to Chantel. While Chantel and Ashley do seem to really care for one another, some things in their history are a bit strange. Nonetheless, we wish Chantel and Ashley nothing but the best moving forward as they celebrate their engagement.
