Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter is looking forward to a big milestone.
“January marks five years [of] no alcohol for me,” she reported on Instagram. “It was one of the single most positive shifts I’ve ever made for myself by myself. I have zero regrets. I fully encourage anyone who feels like there is something getting in their way to eliminate it. Let 2026 be your year.”
She added text over the video: “An annual reminder … If you don’t like the track you’re on … If you don’t recognize the person in the mirror, if you feel there are things in your way … Things that have more control of you than you have of them causing you to make bad decisions and limit your full potential, things that take from you and what you want out of life … if you want more … CHANGE IT.”
Gina has had almost five years without alcohol
“Eliminate those things and get out of your own way,” she added. “This year, become the person you’re supposed to be. Because you can … Go get it.”
As a result, several of her RHOC costars offered support and congratulations in the comments section. First in line was her bestie Emily Simpson, who wrote, “Welp I’m crying … love you always!!! Xo.”
“GINA!!! This is AMAZING,” added Jennifer Pedranti. “Literally chills. I’m so PROUD of you, INSPIRED by you. Love you.”
Meanwhile, Heather Dubrow, who originally bonded with Gina over their shared New York roots, crowed, “Proud of you !!!!!”
Even frenemy Gretchen Rossi came forward with kudos, “Amazing Gina! Congrats!!”
After revealing “how much positivity … has come into my life since I made the decision to stop drinking,” Gina recommended sober life to anyone considering it.
