If you’re not watching The Real Housewives of Potomac, you may not know about the latest cast controversy. Apparently, Ashley Darby hooked up with former cast member Charrisse Jackson-Jordan’s adult son Jackson Jordan.
Understandably, Charrisse was less than pleased to hear about her 27-year-old son’s extracurriculars, especially when a former castmate was involved. As a mom, that’s just kind of icky to think of your son hooking up with one of your friends.
Now RHOP alum Robyn Dixon is weighing in on the situation on the latest episode of her shared podcast with Gizelle Bryant.
Ashley Darby earned some ire from former co-star Robyn
As the feud escalated between Ashley and Charrisse, Robyn called her former castmate’s behavior “tasteless.” On their Reasonably Shady podcast, Robyn felt it was “disrespectful” for Ashley to reveal on camera that she shared a “little smooch” with Jackson.
However, Robyn revealed that if it were her son, she wouldn’t be upset, although she’d be annoyed with her friend mentioning it on camera, which Ashley did. “That’s where I would have the problem,” Robyn explained. “My son’s not on the show … So that’s where I would have the issue if I were Charrisse.”
In addition, Robyn felt that it was flat-out “wrong” and just “tasteless” for Ashley to make the incident public. “It was unnecessary,” she shared. “If I’m Jackson, I’m probably pissed, … like, ‘I’m not even on this damn show. Why are you even talking about me?’”
Furthermore, during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Ashley admitted that she and Jackson “maybe” did more than just kiss. She also confirmed that they hung out more than once.
Gushing about the spark between them, Ashley added, “When we touched hands, when I took the key from him, it was electricity. It went through my body. He’s so young, I didn’t think that I would like a little youngin like that. He is … 10 years younger than me.”
