Real Housewives of Orange County star Gina Kirschenheiter just had the happiest New Year’s ever!
On New Year’s Eve, amid their family ski vacation, Gina’s boyfriend Travis Mullen invited her outside to “scope out the right spot for a family picture.” He then surprised her by dropping to one knee and offering a 6-carat, oval-cut diamond ring, along with an accompanying proposal.
With “a huge smile,” Travis immediately revealed that all six of their shared children were in on the surprise. Daughter Presley even hid in the trees to record their special moment. When they went inside, all the other kids “began to sound off their New Year’s Eve horns and launch off confetti poppers.”
Did Gina just secure her RHOC Season 20 contract?
Still in shock, Gina told People, “My nervous system was trying to catch up to what just happened … I was also trying to process the iceberg that was being presented to me as well! I, of course, said ‘Yes,’ and melted into what was the sweetest kiss I’ve ever felt!”
Gina’s ring was custom made in 18k gold and features that huge center diamond in a classic four-prong setting. Six smaller round diamonds flank the center stone, three on each side, symbolizing their six blended children.
“The ring is absolutely perfect!” the new fiancée adds. “The thought he put into it blows my mind.”
Though they’ve been through “some pretty intense issues” since then, Gina added, “it has only drawn us closer and made us stronger. He is truly my person and always has been. He was waiting in California for me.”
Though only OG Vicki Gunvalson has been confirmed for RHOC Season 20, but will Gina’s engagement insure her place in the cast as well? Only time will tell.
