On the last episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we all witnessed how annoyed Sutton Stracke was becoming with Amanda Frances. Even castmate Kathy Hilton admitted that Amanda is something of an “acquired taste.”
In a sneak peek of RHOBH Season 15, Episode 5, the ladies travel to Sedona, Arizona for a little New Age bonding over crystals and couture. Tempers will surely rise in the desert heat, while Jennifer Tilly worries about getting “sucked into the [energy] vortex.” But at least she’ll look fabulous in her trendy western boots.
Sutton’s not a fan of Amanda’s fashion
During Sutton’s luncheon last week, she noticed Amanda’s annoying habit of constantly trying to “one-up” people. I thought Sutton’s eyes would roll right into the back of her head, whenever Amanda opened her mouth about anything. It got to the point that when Sutton snapped at the newbie, Jennifer cracked, “Okay, Reba.” In case you’ve forgotten, Reba is Sutton’s sometimes cranky, judgemental mom.
As the ladies get ready to go exploring in Arizona, Sutton complains, “The longer we wait, the hotter it gets.”
Of course, Amanda responds, “I have sunscreen in my Chanel backpack,” and Sutton gives her an exasperated look. Again with the brands. It’s tacky, doll. We know you’ve rich, you don’t need to keep reminding us.
“You know, if you’re gonna wear Chanel,” Sutton says in a confessional, “Chanel couture is just so good. Backpack? Eh.”
Meanwhile, when part of the group takes an adventure tour, Jennifer keeps up a constant commentary while hiking to the vortex. “Is she always this talkative?” Amanda asks Erika Jayne.
“Yes,” she says. “This is her appeal. This is why she was an Oscar-nominated actress.”
“Because she can talk a lot?” Amanda wonders, to which Erika merely replies, “Yep.”
“I mean, not to be rude,” the XXPEN$IVE singer says in her own interview. “I know she’s a millennial and everything, but does Amanda even know who Jennifer Tilly is?”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock the following day.
