She’s single again. Kelly Bensimon from The Real Housewives of New York has split from her boyfriend. Unlike her previous relationship, she kept this guy out of the public eye, and it seemed like things were going smoothly. So, what went wrong this time?
Kelly Bensimon is back on the dating scene
If you’ve been following Kelly’s love life over the last couple of years, then you know she’s been having a rough time. In 2024, she was engaged to a guy named Scott Litner. They wound up calling off the wedding just a few days before the wedding.
Fast forward to 2025, and Kelly got back into the dating world. She downloaded Hinge and met a guy named Robert Flood. It started off promising, but that also ended in disaster when her DMs got flooded by women with tea to spill on Robert.
With all of that in mind, Kelly decided to keep her next boyfriend private. Still, it didn’t last. She explained on the I Do, Part 2 podcast that they recently broke things off. Fortunately, it wasn’t quite as messy as her last couple of breakups. This guy just didn’t show up for her the way Kelly needed.
“I have a lot of bandwidth, and then, sometimes, I just snap. I had some health issues last year, and I was going through a lot of things personally,” Kelly explained. “It really made me see what I wanted in my romantic life, and how I wanted to navigate that and move forward into 2026.”
Before coming to this retaliation, Kelly said that this mystery man checked all of the right boxes. A successful and “dynamic” dad, she gushed about him on the podcast previously. However, she realized it was time to kick him to the curb when he wasn’t there for her in her time of need.
“I just knew in my heart that this is not right,” Kelly explained. “I can’t speak for him, but I know that he was not happy with the change in the temperature.”
