Through thick and thin, Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks have had each other’s backs on Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Most of their castmates have been critical of that friendship, which sometimes reads more like a strategic alliance. However, Angie Katsanevas just shared a different opinion.
According to Angie, she’s not bothered by Meredith and Lisa’s unbreakable bond. She understands it, and she seems to think it’s a good thing.
Angie K says Lisa Barlow and Meredith Marks “stayed true to each other”
Angie recently sat down on SiriusXM’s Smith Sisters Live to spill a little tea. During the chat, the Radio Andy hosts asked Angie to weigh in on Lisa and Meredith’s reforged bond. They’ve been working overtime to defend each other this season. How did they get back to being so close after their major falling out?
Angie said, “Originally, I just kind of said, you know, are they just doing this because they felt like everyone was against them?”
After further reflection, realized that Lisa and Meredith had a lot of “history.” She felt like they were overcoming the low point in their relationship, and it reminded Angie of her own “rough patch” with Heather Gay.
“They have history,” Angie explained. “You know, Heather and I went to high school together, and we went through a rough patch, but we came back together because we have history.”
Angie continued, “So, I guess we just have to acknowledge that they’ve got that history, and they were able to move forward from some really dark moments.”
Although Angie initially questioned how Meredith and Lisa moved on from their explosive feud, she’s on board with how they currently show up for each other. It’s a pretty dramatic shift in tone, compared to what we’re currently watching play out on the Season 6 reunion.
“They stay true to each other, and I guess thank God they did because I think it did feel, you know, those two against the world at the finale,” Angie added.
