Robert Irwin charmed the ballroom and home viewers during Season 34 of Dancing with the Stars. He was partnered with pro Witney Carson. The conservationist came into DWTS with zero dance experience, but he was a natural.
In the end, Robert and Witney won the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Influencer Alix Earle and pro Val Chmerkovskiy claimed second place. In a fun twist, Robert followed in the footsteps of his sister, Bindi Irwin. She danced her way to Mirrorball glory in Season 21 with partner Derek Hough. Naturally, fans are curious about Robert’s love life, and he recently dropped some news.
Is Robert Irwin single?
During DWTS’ 20th birthday episode, Robert danced with Mirrorball champ Xochitl Gomez. Their energy and connection sparked dating rumors. However, it seems that Robert is currently single and ready to mingle.
Robert discussed his romantic life during an interview with KIIS FM in Australia. “On behalf of every single woman under the age of 30, are you single?” the interviewer asked.
“Oh, we’re going straight in for the exclusive,” Robert responded. “Yes, yes.” However, Robert is “looking” for a romantic partner. “Oh, definitely. It’s one of these things where I’m like, at this point in my life, where you sort of, you gotta let it happen,” Robert explained. “Because I’m so here and there and everywhere and 100 miles per hour.”
The DWTS champ continued, “I’m open to it. Watch this space. There’s not much to report at the moment,” he added.
In addition, Robert previously explained how difficult it is to date in the spotlight. “Holy moly, that’s so challenging to navigate. Anything you do will be on TikTok the next day,” he explained. “I never change what I say, what I do, who I am one bit, wherever I am. It’s just me, and I stand by who I am.”
