When reality television stars enter politics, anything can happen. Regardless, Angie hopes that her efforts pay off in this arena. As for what she’s doing, sources have spoken with TMZ. And according to these humans-in-the-know, Angie is steeling herself to testify before Congress.
But why? Well, Angie wants to speak up as an advocate. Her voice holds weight, as does the fact that her hair salon brand, Lunatic Fringe, now has nine franchise locations nationwide. Simply put, Angie views her franchise, alongside all other franchises, as an example of what it means to live the American Dream, especially for women and immigrants.
The American Dream is a huge motivator in Angie’s life. As RHOSLC fans know, her parents immigrated from Greece. Therefore, as these sources noted, Angie views franchising as a pathway to ownership, independence, and generational opportunity for everyone, regardless of their background. So, Angie’s journey will soon be presented through her likely well-thought-out speech before Congress, where she will make history as the first-ever Housewives star to appear before The Legislative Branch.
