The Season 10 premiere of Summer House is almost here. And with it comes news of another high-profile split. Amanda Batula and her husband, Kyle Cooke, have separated. For fans opf the series, this isn’t a shock. Now their Summer House co-star, West Wilson, is weighing in on their split.
The duo announced the news via their social media accounts. “After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” their statement read. They also asked for privacy amid this difficult time. Meanwhile, fans will probbaly get a snapshot of Kyle and Amanda’s troubles during Season 10 of Summer House.
West Wilson speaks on the “weird world” surrounding Summer House’s former golden couple
Recently, West was a guest on the podcast, Show Me Something, and was asked about Amanda and Kyle’s breakup. “It’s a weird world because their relationship has been so public. But obviously, they should both be awarded privacy if that’s what they want,” West stated.
He continued, “You almost feel like people feel entitled to your personal business because they’ve watched you be public about everything. My big thing would be to tell other people who are on the internet to like be respectful.” That should go without saying.
“Even if this is what’s best for them and it’s all going to be for the better, it is still objectively a hard thing to do. And like probably so f*cking exhausting,” West stated. “I can’t speak for them, but I am proud of them up until this point.”
Meanwhile, Kyle also opened up about his split with Amanda. “This isn’t like a big breakup where there’s a smoking gun, and there’s a lot of hate … We got each other’s back,” he previously stated. “It’s a lot to swallow when your entire relationship from the very, very beginning is on TV. So we knew it wasn’t gonna be easy,” Kyle added.
Summer House Season 10 premieres on February 3 at 8/7c on Bravo. The show streams the next-day on Peacock.
