Kirstie Alley never had trouble openly discussing what she was thinking. The late Look Who’s Talking star was a series regular on Cheers. She portrayed Rebecca Howe from 1987 until the series conclusion in 1993.
One of her castmates on the sitcom, Kelsey Grammer, recently dished about what it was like working with her on the show. According to the Frasier star, Kirstie was very curious about the men on the program. He says she wasn’t afraid to make one bold claim.

Curiosity can often be too difficult to keep inside. Evidently, Kirstie couldn’t hold back one particular curiosity about the male actors on Cheers. On The Megyn Kelly Show, Kelsey was pressed to spill the tea about whether he’d had a relationship with Kirstie, Shelly Long or Bebe Neuwirth. Kelsey said he didn’t, adding that for him it’s never a good idea to be romantically involved with someone you work with.
Kelsey did share one humorous moment from the show’s successful run. As he remembers it, Kirstie at one point stood the men up against the bar, saying, “I’m going to guess which of you has the biggest package.” Kelsey didn’t share who Kirstie had her money on.
That was one of the many memorable moments Kelsey shared with Kirstie on the show, during which the two formed a very close bond. He says that she was a real light with an ecstatic presence. He adds that she brought so much joy to the set and would live with a silliness around her.
Like many, Kelsey was devastated upon learning she had died of colon cancer in 2022. Her net worth at the time of her death was an estimated $40 million.
