Are the OG women of Southern Charm getting a spinoff? Or, more importantly, is a new, similar series even in the works? On both of these topics, Cameran Eubanks has just weighed in.
Cameran won’t be joined by Chelsea Meissner and Naomie Olindo for a new reality show
For years, Cameran held court on Southern Charm. But then she tied the knot, had her daughter, and promptly left filming, leaving the chaotic, rumor-filled world of reality television behind. The last time we saw Cameron on this cast was in 2019, when Season 6 aired. And ever since, many women have come and gone, including two of her closest female filming partners, both of whom remain active in her life.
Fans miss these women. So, when rumors started swirling that Cameron, Chelsea Meissner, and Naomie Olindo might be in talks for a spinoff, they got excited. But alas, their excitement is all for naught. Because sadly, this was all just a rumor.
Entertainment Now captured Cameron’s response to this claim. As she explained, her followers sent her articles talking about her return. So, I’m “addressing it here,” she began, alongside a headline that read: “There is a rumored Southern Charm spinoff in early development titled The Isles, focusing on Cameran, Chelsea & Naomie, alongside a new ensemble cast in the suburbs of Charleston.”
Regardless, we can now mark this claim as “NOT TRUE,” according to Cameron. Shame, isn’t it? Then, to further shut this mess down, Cameran also penned “NOT TRUE” in the comments section of BravoChatRoom’s initial Instagram post, much to the dismay of many longstanding Southern Charm fans.
Southern Charm airs on Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It is available to stream the next day on Peacock.
