Controversial podcaster Megyn Kelly has made her opinion known about Meghan Markle’s relationship. She gave her take on a recent public outing with Meghan and her husband Prince Harry.
Megyn dissected the Duchess’ body language in her recent outing at an NBA game. She also speculated about the former actress’ insecurities.
Meghan Markle is “playing a role” in her marriage to Prince Harry, claims Megyn Kelly
On her The Megyn Kelly Show podcast, Megyn claims the former Suits star is “playing a role.” Also, she claims “she doesn’t know who she is” due to issues with the press.
Megyn said, “She [Meghan] recently attended an NBA game and, because she doesn’t really like publicity, she sat courtside.” She then critiqued a viral clip of the couple. In it, as Harry looked away from her, Meghan touched him on the arm to redirect his attention. The prince waved at the camera, then again turned away from his wife.
“You can’t miss the, ‘Darling, this is the whole reason we’re here … Look into the d*** camera and get me my shot. If you’re not looking, then they’re not looking at me. That’s really what she is saying there,” Megyn noted. “If you put yourself out into the public sphere as a public figure… You have to accept that this is part of the deal … You really do have to know who you are to be able to handle this. And I think that is part of the problem with this woman. She doesn’t know who she is at all.”
Megyn’s criticism then turned to Harry’s court appearance in his case against the Daily Mail’s publisher. “Even in that court proceeding, he was talking about how [Meghan] was treated abominably by the British press corps,” she said. “They made her an international star. They loved her in the beginning. [Harry] only started to get upset when she started to behave badly, and they wrote about that too.”
