Family and friends gathered in Salt Lake City over the weekend to celebrate the life of Robert Cosby, Jr. The only son of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Mary Cosby passed away last month from a suspected overdose.
Robert’s passing arrived as production was ramping up on RHOSLC Season 7. They delayed filming in the aftermath of his death, but rumors have been swirling online that they picked up cameras for his funeral. But is there any truth to that?
Despite rumors, RHOSLC did not film Robert Jr.’s funeral

According to TMZ, Robert’s funeral was not filmed for RHOSLC, and thank goodness for that.
Although the cameras weren’t rolling at the funeral, the outlet confirmed that the entire cast (except for Mary) did meet up last week to discuss his death on camera. They’ve put their differences aside and also reunited to attend the funeral service. That includes everyone: Angie Katsanevas, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Bronwyn Newport, and Britani Bateman.
Andy Cohen spoke about the funeral as well during the Monday, March 9 episode of his SiriusXM show. He was unable to attend the service, but he shared that Kyle Richards, Cynthia Bailey, and Shereé Whitfield were all in the building. He called them “real ones.”
After the service, Kyle reported all of the details back to Andy. He said that the service was “rapturous,” and Robert Cosby Sr. delivered a powerful sermon. Andy also said that Mary was “on one” in “a spiritual way.”
While Mary has not spoken directly about her future on RHOSLC, rumor has it that she’ll return to the group at some point during Season 7.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is streaming on Peacock.
