The daughter of a late, infamous mafia boss is desperate to get her son out of prison. Victoria Gotti’s father, John, was a longtime leader of the Gambino crime family. Her son, Carmine Agnello, is currently behind bars after pleading guilty to COVID fraud in 2024.
Victoria is begging a US District court Judge to grant her son probation for the $1.1 million he fraudulently took. Victoria is dealing with chronic kidney disease and needs Carmine’s help.

Being in prison could impact Carmine’s health as he prepares to go through a big procedure. In a letter submitted on Wednesday by Victoria, obtained by TMZ, she pleads with Judge Nusrat Choudhury to let her son go free. Her concern is that undergoing the kidney transplant he’s agreed to do will have devastating consequences for him if it occurs while in prison.
It was reported in November had to undergo major kidney surgery, with Carmine agreeing to be the donor. In the letter to the Judge, Victoria writes that her son “is kind and generous to a fault. He is giving me the GIFT OF LIFE.” She adds that he would “never do anything he KNEW was wrong.” That last statement is sure to read as rather ironic, given what Carmine is in prison for.
According to her filing, the Growing Up Gotti star could face a terminal condition or permanent debilitation if she doesn’t get a kidney. Carmine is said to be the only compatible donor for her. Carmine is one of the three sons Victoria has with her husband also named Carmine. The two divorced in 2003.
Sentencing for Victoria’s son will take place in a federal court on Friday. The prosecution in his case is seeking that he serves 31 to 44 months behind bars. They’re also asking for him to pay $1.25 million in restitution.
