Break out your suntan lotion! After a steamy Season 7, Love Island USA is returning this summer. The series, which features singles sharing a villa and competing for love (and a cash prize), also spawned a successful spin-off.
During Season 7, the people’s princess, Amaya Espinal, won the game with Bryan Arenales. He decided to split the cash prize with Amaya, and the duo started dating in the real world. Unfortunately, their romance was short-lived, and the couple called it quits. Only a couple of Love Island USA couples are still together, while Season 6 has a more impressive total.
When does Love Island USA return to Peacock?
Love Island USA Season 8 premieres June 2, 2026, and will be available to stream on Peacock.
Season 8 will reportedly be hosted once again by Vanderpump Rules and Dancing with the Stars alum Ariana Madix, and the Islanders will again be spending time in Fiji. Hopefully, more Islanders will find, and stay, in love next season. At the time of this writing, only Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen, along with Taylor Williams and Clarke Carraway, are still together.
I am also desperately hoping that Season 8 will avoid the scandals that plagued last season. Two contestants were sent home for their prior use of slurs. Casting needs to do a deeper dive before casting contestants.
In addition, some fans felt that Season 7 lost some of its magic. They called out Islanders who seemed more concerned with being social media influencers and grabbing followers than finding a partner. Plus, some viewers have their fingers crossed that fan votes will have more of an impact this season. When cast members have the final say, sometimes strategy seems to come into play, which frustrates the audience.
Let’s get ready for a fun-filled Season 8, packed with plenty of romance, funny moments, and drama.
