Venita Aspen and Ciara Miller are holding their own on their respective Bravo shows. And they’ve developed a friendship over the years, so maybe a Southern Charm and Summer House collaboration are in their future.
The ladies share the honor of representing their community onscreen. Ciara notably came to Venita’s defense during Southern Charm Season 11. The professional model made a statement on TikTok calling out the higher standard that Black women are held to within their cast group. Perhaps joining forces would not only be entertaining, but empowering as well.
Ciara Miller and Venita Aspen’s friendship started in 2020
It all started with a welcome DM from Ciara to the Southern Charm star when she joined the show in 2020. And during an exclusive chat with Elite Daily, Venita revealed that she crashes at Ciara’s whenever she’s in town. As the fashion influencer visits the Big Apple almost weekly, that’s a lot of time spent building a friendship.
“Now I’m at her house every time I’m in New York,” Venita shared.
“They want it, and I want to do it. We just have to figure out the best plan of action,” Venita revealed. “I might trickle my way over to Summer House. We’ll see.”
Referencing Ciara’s statement about the demographic on Southern Charm, Venita said she appreciates her friend for her clarity on the matter. She’s certainly had her own issues with bigoted comments on social media.
“I texted her and thanked her. Because I don’t know how to speak on those feelings without getting so sad or angry to the point that I just flip out on everybody. It’s nice to know that she had my back. But it’s also sad that no one else from my cast is going to say anything like that,” she shared.
