Season 10 of Summer House has been a rough one so far for Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula. Since the very first episode of the season, the married couple have been at each other’s throats. Kyle has complained about Amanda not communicating with him, while Amanda was tired of Kyle blaming everything on her. However, things spiraled out of control in Season 10, Episode 8, when Kyle swore at Amanda in front of the group.
West Wilson told Summer House co-star Kyle Cooke to apologize to his wife
It was Kyle’s birthday weekend in the Hamptons, and the group had just come back from dinner. Amanda had hoped for a peaceful weekend, as they had recently fought about his DJ career and their ongoing communication issues.
But things took a turn when Kyle was left alone inside and noticed Amanda was hanging out with everyone but him. When Kyle went out to find them he suddenly lost it on Amanda in front of the group. He complained she was not supportive of him and told her “f*ck you.”
While everyone was in shock, this was nothing new to Amanda. She said in her confessional, “I know that it’s wrong the way that he speaks to me. Like I’m fully aware of that. I’m not okay with it. I just know that having a conversation about it isn’t going to go anywhere.”
West Wilson then went to check on Amanda. He told her that was completely “unprovoked.” Amanda said, “That’s tame. That was like a calm version of Kyle.”
When Kyle wandered in, West told him to apologize to Amanda. He told Kyle, “You said ‘f*ck you’ for no reason.” Kyle responded, “She gave me the ‘f*ck you’ eyes.”
Kyle then found Amanda and told her, “I’m sorry for saying ‘f*ck you.’ I just don’t feel like you’ve paid attention to me.” When Amanda denied ignoring him, he flipped out again.
Kyle said, “You’re a f*cking dumbass b*tch.” As Amanda walked off, Kyle complained, “You ignore me. All night long with our friends. You prefer our friends over me!”
Summer House airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It can be streamed on Peacock the next day.
