Most Summer House fans weren’t shocked when Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula announced that they were getting a divorce. However, I don’t think anyone expected her to hook up with co-star West Wilson.
There is a complicated history here. Amanda’s bestie, Ciara Miller, previously dated West. Meanwhile, rumors swirled about a romance between West and Amanda. Recently, several Summer House cast members shared cryptic social media posts that seemed to indicate trouble on the horizon and drama behind the scenes.

There was also an inkling of trouble between Amanda and Ciara. They were scheduled to do an Amazon Live together, but ended up doing the event for Olly vitamins separately.
Well, West and Amanda released a joint Instagram statement confirming their romantic connection. The duo’s statement read, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognized that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”
Of course, Ciara unfollowed or blocked both Amanda and West. Meanwhile, Amanda recently gushed all about Ciara and her new man, West. “It would have been a very difficult summer to get through without Ciara,” Amanda told Marie Claire in an interview that took place before she confirmed her relationship with West. “It’s also meant so much to me how supportive West [Wilson] has been throughout the season, sometimes in ways I wasn’t even aware of when filming. It’s not performative; it’s just really authentic to who West is.”
She added, “He checks Kyle and puts him in his place, and you’ll continue to see him be there for me throughout the season.” Now we will all be watching Season 10 of Summer House through a different lens.
