After years of finally getting along, Brandi Glanville felt compelled to throw some shade at her former nemesis LeAnn Rimes. Brandi couldn’t help herself after LeAnn posted an emotional video of her recent “deep jaw release.”
“We did see LeAnn Rimes in the news today,” Brandi announced on the April 2 episode of her Unfiltered podcast. “I’ve had that done a million times, [because] I have TMJ.”
Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders affect the joints that connect your jaw to your skull. They help the jaw move during eating, chewing and talking. TMJ disorders can cause pain, headaches or difficulty chewing.
The former RHOBH star questioned LeAnn’s crying
Venice, California-based self-healing group Human Garbage believes that facial maneuvering can release tension, trauma, and improve physical/emotional alignment.
“Healing isn’t always quiet,” LeAnn’s treatment video was captioned. “The jaw is one of the body’s primary storage sites for stress. When we hold back our voice or push through pressure, the fascia in the face and neck ‘locks’ to protect us. By using the maneuvers to signal safety to the nervous system, we can finally allow that stored energy to move.”
“They put on gloves and they go inside your mouth, and it’s very painful,” Brandi explained. “I think I just have a very high pain tolerance.”
“I just don’t know why you share that,” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum wondered.
Brandi’s cohost James Maas pointed out that perhaps LeAnn was just being open about her health journey.
“Oh, like me? So weird,” Brandi laughed.
Brandi and LeAnn famously battled each other for years when her then-husband Eddie Cibrian left her for LeAnn. But in recent years, they’d seemed to make peace with each other for the sake of their blended family. Eddie and Brandi also share two sons, Jake and Mason.
During her years-long health battle, which included an alleged facial parasite and a ruptured breast implant, she even reached out to LeAnn for help.
“[LeAnn] said, ‘You need a breath coach,” Brandi told Us Weekly in April 2024.
“I can actually talk myself out of a panic attack,” she said after taking LeAnn’s advice. “I eat better and breathe and actually exercise. I’m getting there.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo. It streams the following day on Peacock.
