Nothing about West Wilson is aging well in light of his hookup with Amanda Batula. The Summer House star arguably wanted to create a brand for himself outside of the hit reality TV show. Indeed, after dating and dumping co-star Ciara Miller, she accused him of pursuing her for the sake of the cameras.
Jesse Solomon, for one, was shocked by his friend’s hookup. West’s alleged girlfriend from Montana all the more. But Jesse was also aware of some of West’s sneaky phone use. So maybe the surprise was muted somewhat.
Jesse appeared on Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast
Host Gia Giudice asked Jesse which of his Summer House costars in the “biggest drunk texter.” The Next Gen NYC star had Jesse on her podcast, Casual Chaos, before Amanda and West confirmed their romance. However, rumors were already swirling.
“Probably West. West is always, like, sneaky linking on his phone,” he answered on the episode, which aired April 7.
Teresa Giudice’s eldest daughter did ask Jesse to comment on the hookup rumors. She asked, “can you give us anything on West and Amanda?”
“I’ve asked both of them, and they have told me that it’s not true, so I trust my friends,” Jesse said at the time.
After Amanda and West confirmed their romance via an Instagram statement March 31, Jesse reiterated that he did not know about it beforehand.
“I heard the rumors, but they were denied to me multiple times,” Jesse wrote on Instagram April 1.
The Summer House cast is currently preparing for what fans are sure to be an incredibly dramatic reunion.
