Lindsie Chrisley’s boyfriend may pay a heavy price both physically and financially. David Landsman was arrested last for allegedly attacking the former star of Chrisley Knows Best. David was reportedly caught in a lie by the podcast host, who didn’t take it kindly.
The speculation is that she tried to leave, sparking him to allegedly use force to prevent that from happening. Judging from his mugshot, though, he took some big knocks in the incident.
David Landsman was arrested on one count of aggravated assault-strangulation
Sometimes extreme situations require extreme measures. That’s what it appears Lindsie found herself in at the hands of her boyfriend. In his mugshot from the Cherokee County jail, David appears to have a stream of blood down his face. Sources tell TMZ that Lindsie’s boyfriend “went berserk” when she attempted to leave.
He’s the one reportedly in trouble, though David is apparently the one who called the cops. A source, however, claims that Lindsie had visible injuries on her body when police arrived. David was arrested and is facing a charge of aggravated assault-strangulation in the incident.
This altercation is a major twist in their relationship, which, by all accounts, was going quite well. So well, in fact, that David asked Lindsie’s estranged father, Todd, for permission to marry her. David shared Lindsie’s new engagement ring on his Instagram story last month. Todd and Lindsie have reportedly not spoken to one another since the latter allegedly talked to the FBI in 2022 to have him and Julie in prison for tax evasion. Last year, President Donald Trump pardoned the two, and they were released from prison.
As of July 2025, Lindsie adopted the last name Landsman. According to her, the Chrisley name was problematic for her personal life and career. Chrisley Knows Best ran for 10 seasons, airing over 200 episodes.
