Last night on Below Deck Down Under, Daisy Kelliher absolutely crashed out. She was fussing over the radio and sighing loudly, clearly admitting that she had reached her limits as a chief stew. While some might label her responses as unprofessional, this writer found her frustrations incredibly valid instead. And now, following weeks of trash behaviors across the yacht, someone is likely to be fired. But which Season 4 yachtie should that be?
Well, my money is riding on one crew member in particular. Yet, three of these hired hands actually deserve a hard about-face from Captain Jason Chambers. In the midseason trailer, we actually saw this fearless leader addressing an unknown human, and it appeared as if he was cutting their time short. So, we know that something is coming, but we still do not know who that something might be coming for.
But what we can do is analyze the clues. After doing so, here’s what I think.
Elena “Ellie” Dubaich is the least likely of our three Below Deck Down Under cast members

Elena “Ellie” Dubaich is not doing herself any favors this season. Sure, when she first came aboard, she was great. But week by week, her resolve has slipped, and now, she is back on her hierarchy bullsh*t, all while not fully grasping just how low her position on this yacht truly is. Yet, as eye-rolling as her behaviors have been, I am still placing Ellie at the least likely to get fired on this list.
Hear me out. Last night, in Episode 11, Ellie made a monumental mistake. She poured “washing up liquid” all over Chef Ben Robinson’s eggs, thinking that it was olive oil. “Literally, it tastes like Dawn,” the primary said, after taking just one bite.
Even still, as Ben explained, he never thought to label the bottles in the galley. So, this was his mistake to make as well. Additionally, Ellie did not try to lie her way out of trouble, unlike someone else on this list. But she did take up precious time making her semi-unrequited love interest a cake instead of working on breakfast for their guests, which rightfully ticked Daisy off.
Both Daisy and Ben have admitted that Ellie scares them. Even still, unless something major happens, her spot on Season 4 will likely remain secure.
Alesia Harris is a better choice to be fired on BDDU Season 4

Up next on the potential chopping block is Alesia Harris. Alesia joined this season as a sous chef, just like she was in Season 3. But when her interactions with Ben, alongside her glaringly obvious lack of skill sets, rose to new heights, she transitioned to the interior department, making way for Ellie to come on board as Ben’s “chef’s assistant.” However, Alesia is not faring any better under Daisy’s wing, behaviorally speaking, at least.
Alesia enjoys winning. Who doesn’t? But you already have a boyfriend. So when your boat crush turns in a new direction, meddling with their chances of finding love is a really, really bad look. Then, going after that man’s new crush sends you to newer lows, which is where Alesia is currently sitting.
Jenna Woudberg sits at a higher rank than Alesia. Yet, Alesia weirdly thinks she can dictate where Jenna needs to be. But even when Jenna followed her commands and helped their guests with their makeup, Alesia dared to slam her for taking too long, which Jenna thankfully brushed off. As to why Alesia had this nerve, it’s because she is bad at tablescapes and seems to enjoy complaining, meddling, and stealing from Jenna instead of actually doing her job.
Like many of us, Daisy is growing weary of Alesia. Nevertheless, Alesia might still be safe, because there is still one other yachtie faring worse than she is.
Mike Durrant is most likely to be fired on Below Deck Down Under

If you ask me, Mike Durrant is the most likely yachtie to get the boot. Mike works in a deck/stew capacity, but the actual work part is where Mike falters. Time after time, Mike has ignored either a list or a command made by Daisy. And in last night’s episode, he even had the balls to tell his superior that cleaning that yacht was not a part of his job.
As a result, in her confessional, Daisy stressed, “Mike is definitely developing an ego, and if he doesn’t stop, it’s gonna cause a f*cking problem. And he doesn’t want a problem with me.” Then, several beats later, Mike ruined a massive surprise for the guests, only to deflect, claiming that no one told him it was supposed to be a surprise. As expected, producers clocked in to show footage of Mike’s lieabetes.
Speaking of, when Tyler, the primary, called Mike out for ruining his surprise, Mike boldly lied, once again doing the most to avoid any form of accountability. From his lack of initiative to his insubordinate ways of being with Daisy, not to mention his lies and constant showings of deflections, Mike’s time on this yacht is looking pretty short in my eyes.
Below Deck Down Under is streaming on Peacock.
