Brooke Hogan is delving into some dark moments from her father’s past. The daughter of legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan recalls some of his most shocking moments. Among them was the late wrestler using the N-word repeatedly about Brooke’s boyfriend at the time, who happened to be Black. This was part of a larger unauthorized sex tape.
Brooke calls those infamous moments “the most embarrassing thing in the world.” Hulk died of a heart attack last July.

Hulk’s controversial past did more than just damage his reputation. Speaking exclusively to US Weekly, Brooke says that she was stunned by how many people felt sympathy for the backlash he received from that. She recalls wondering, “What about us?’ We were the subject of it.”
At the time of Hulk’s infamous tape, his daughter was dating Yannique Barker. The mother of two admits that she and Yannique “really went through it when that sex tape came out, and it tore us apart.” In the infamous tape, her father is heard admitting that he is “racist to a point.”
By all accounts, Brooke and her father, whose real name was Terry Bollea, had an up and down relationship during his life. So much so that Brooke asked to be removed from his will. Hulk reportedly left $5 million in that will.
While the infamous sex tape involving Hulk hurt his image and got him fired from WWE, the Hogan Knows Best star didn’t walk away from that matter empty-handed. Far from it, in fact, as Hulk won a $115 million judgment against Gawker for the publication of that tape.
Brooke moved on from Yannique, though the two seem to have reconnected. She is apparently continuing her music career with his company SoBe Entertainment. Brooke is married to Steven Oleksy, and the couple have two kids.
