Meghan Markle is laying down the law on her husband. The Duchess of Sussex is said to have a strict set of rules for Prince Harry while the couple are in Australia. The pair are there for many events, including Meghan’s girls’ wellness retreat.
A source says that while the two are in Australia, Harry must adhere to some of her rules, which are reportedly “non-negotiable.” That includes avoiding contact with his former Aussie female associates. Harry apparently has also been hit with a strict curfew.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have headed Down Under

Reconnecting with his females is out of the question for Harry Down Under. A source tells the Australian publication Woman’s Day that “Meghan’s drawn a hard line,” with Harry. That includes no accidental run-ins with other women, including one of his alleged former flames, Natalie Imbruglia. The two were linked in early 2009. Reports indicate Harry has a specific role to play while in Australia: being a “low-key proud husband.”
The curfew is reportedly due to fears that Harry might act out of character. The Prince apparently doesn’t have a great track record of controlling himself on nights out, and because of this, Meghan reportedly wants to keep him on a tight leash. Despite these rules, Harry reportedly has the freedom to socialize with friends, though it sounds like only male ones.
The retreat hosted by Meghan has generated plenty of controversy. Among the outrage people are discussing is the VIP ticket prices for the event. In March, they were estimated to be over $2,200 US. Meghan, meanwhile, is said to be asking for tighter security throughout the tour. She also reportedly wants tight control regarding media activities.
The focus of the tour will be on her As Ever brand and Harry’s philanthropic work. Meghan and Harry kicked off the tour by visiting Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital. The Duchess will be on the girls’ retreat at Sydney’s InterContinental Hotel from April 17 to 19.
