Southern Hospitality’s Emmy Sharrett Gives Will Kulp Wedding Planning Details

Emmy Sharrett and Will Kulp got engaged nearly a year ago. And according to the remaining Southern Hospitality star, the two are still going strong and planning their wedding. Her fiance chose to walk away from the series after Season 3.

Will is taking an active role in wedding planning with his leading lady of four years. Emmy shared some potential decisions and details, as well as why the couple are waiting just a little bit longer before saying ‘I do.’

Will Kulp left the show after a season plagued by cheating rumors

Emmy revealed to Swooon that planning is “going great,” though things are a little “last minute.” As an update, she did buy a dress. Also, the couple have decided to wed in the English countryside. Emmy grew up there, while her future mother-in-law is English.

“I’m very type B, unfortunately. I’m the kind of person where I’m happy getting married anywhere,” she said.

Emmy continued, “Will’s in his final semester of law school, and I honestly want to do this with him, but it’s been hard to do with him while he’s fully in school. So once he graduates in May, it will be nice to have him back in Charleston so we can tag team our wedding together.”

“It’s a jam-packed fall for us, so let’s just hold off another year. A year of being engaged flew by, so I’m happy we’re waiting a little bit just to give us some more time to plan,” Emmy shared.

The main issue with the “small, intimate wedding” is the logistics of coordinating with the church and venue overseas. Emmy explained, “You have to coordinate with the church and a venue, and doing it overseas is that much more difficult.”

Neither she nor Will plan to film their wedding for Bravo.

“Never say no, but again, the venues we’re looking at are 80 people capacity, so you’re looking at a pretty small invite list to begin with,” Emmy dished. “I’m not opposed, but it’s not like the cast would be there.”

Catch Southern Hospitality Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
