We’re back with our Southern Hospitality Season 4 recaps! Season 4 is officially over, and the gang has reassembled for the Reunion! In this first part, we address all the drama, including that crazy finale. Here’s everything that happened on Southern Hospitality Season 4, Episode 14: “Reunion Part 1.”

What Went Down on Southern Hospitality Season 4 Episode 14?

It’s time to face the music, and everyone is coming back for the reunion. There is definitely anxiety in the air as everyone gets ready.

Lake checks in with Michols and asks if he has some words to say. He responds by saying he has some words to read. Ooh, a statement maybe?

Maddi and Joe are ready and letting off some steam. Maddi can’t wait to get started. She says it’s going to be hard for her not to beat Molly f*cking Moore’s ass. She thinks Molly is a compulsive liar. Yikes!

The gang heads into the reunion space that’s designed like a replica of Republic!

Andy starts with some small talk as he welcomes everyone

Andy gets started and welcomes everyone, asking how they are doing. Lake’s mom gave her a mantra for the day we can all benefit from – “I’m smart, I’m brave, and I’m a bad b*tch.”

Maddi is celebrating 12 years of sobriety. Andy asks Mia if she’s going to reach out to West Wilson while she’s in town, and she says no way! He asks Emmy if Will is with her today, and she says he’s not even in the state (let alone the building).

Andy asks Michols how he’s doing, and he says he’s ready for a funeral. Apparently, his “thing to read” is a color-coded binder full of “receipts.” Wow!

Andy congratulates Lake, Michols, and TJ on their GLAAD awards and Leva on her many properties on King’s Street. Then the pleasantries are over.

Maddi and Michols talk about Molly being written up

Andy starts small and asks if anyone has been written up before. Emmy has been written up for “no call, no show.” Molly admits she’s been written up once, and Maddi quickly says Molly has been written up three times while she was a manager.

Molly denies this, but Maddi has deets. Once was for a fight with another bartender, once was for bad reviews, and once was for not showing up because of her other job. Michols corroborates this and says he has receipts in his binder (which would be great friends with Maddi’s PowerPoint). Michols reads one of Molly’s bad reviews.

This makes Andy revisit Molly and Michols’ fight on that first night back. Molly thinks Michols fired her because she wasn’t “a follower of his.” Leva made it clear that if Michols fired her because he didn’t like her, Michols would be fired too.

Michols did apologize for how he spoke to her that day, though. He admits it wasn’t right. He is learning to regulate his emotions better.

Leva talks about Joe and the business

Next up, Andy mentions fans are responding well to Justin. Andy asks Leva what qualities of Justin she wishes Joe had more of. Leva just said she wishes Joe were more confident like Justin and less of a people pleaser.

This paves the way for Andy to ask if Leva considered Joe for her new business. She said they did. So why didn’t they push through with it?

Leva explained that Joe has had a lot of autonomy to walk between their spaces and network. But then he started not showing up. He became highly unreliable. Many times, they didn’t know where he was. This was a red flag.

Joe understands that. He feels he has improved a lot since then, and Leva agrees. Joe’s also opened a new business called King Street Concierge. He is helping plan people’s trips and parties and hosting a concert series at On Air.

Looks like Joey Bottles is all grown up!

They go back to the group chat, and the continued fallout from the Trevor cheating rumors

After that positive note, Andy takes it back to the group chat that started all the drama. He asked Maddi how she felt about Joe being part of that group chat. Maddi says Brad and TJ admitted Joe was in the beginning, but he had no part in what they told her about Trevor.

Mia clarifies that Trevor has indeed cheated on Maddi before, but Maddi says not with the “paid actress” Brad hired. Brad thinks this is laughable and denies that.

Andy asks if Maddi thinks her relationship with Joe started with a lie. She says Joe is a better option regardless, but she feels bad for the turmoil she went through to get there. Joe admits he felt insecure about the level of emotion Maddi showed for Trevor, but in the end, he knows Maddi loves him.

Andy asks Maddi if she ever apologized to Brad for the back-alley BJ rumors, which were the catalyst for the whole revenge scheme. She said she saw what she saw, and she only apologizes when she lies. Brad also doubles down and said she saw nothing because nothing happened.

Joe and Maddi and his issues with Brad, TJ, and Justin

With Maddi still having issues with Brad and TJ, Andy asks Joe if that makes it hard for him to hang out with the guys.

Justin said he thinks it does, and Joe has said as much before. Maddi says she’s never even seen Joe hang out with Justin outside of work. He replies that it’s because of her. Maddi tells Justin that if he thinks she controls Joe, he’s insane.

Joe wants to be a good friend and asks TJ how they can move forward. TJ mentions Joe and Maddi never support his business, even if they say they will.

Both he and Maddi admit they haven’t come around and promise to try to support his second Sunday Sir Weiners events more.

Grace and her personal struggles this summer

From the boys, Andy moves to Grace and her personal struggles over the summer. He asks her why she made that joke about Joe and Maddi’s sex life at the party, and she admits she was upset Maddi didn’t tell her about the theme dress code. It’s not an excuse, and she apologizes.

Andy congratulates her for being so open about her struggles. Grace admits her journey is going day by day. She still gets triggered sometimes, but she’s deleted contacts on her phone, and that helps.

Leva reminds Grace it’s not an “alone” journey, and she hopes she gets support. Grace admits to going to AA and therapy meetings. Andy asks her about her recent arrests, and Grace says her legal team is confident that the charges will be dropped.

TJ and Michols get real about their situationship

Next up is TJ and Michols. Andy says them hooking up while watching Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was iconic. They confirmed that that time was the first time they went beyond making out. The last time they “hooked up” was in New York.

Michols admits things are a bit weird. He heard that TJ said everything that happened between them was just for “story,” and none of it was real.

TJ denies ever saying that. He apologizes if Michols heard that, but he also said everything they went through was always up and down. Michols did have real feelings for TJ, but not anymore. For TJ, it was more about attraction, and the lines were blurred.

To be fair, TJ says Michols never expressed his feelings. The one time he did, he walked it back by saying he was drunk. TJ tried to talk to him about it in the DR, but he never admitted to anything, so it’s not fair to put it all on TJ. In the end, he hopes this didn’t ruin their friendship.

Opening the Emmy can of worms

Then Andy begins the hard conversation about Emmy. He says TJ has admitted to hearing more cheating rumors about Will, and this sets Emmy off immediately. She says that it is inappropriate and she will not engage in any discussion about Will.

TJ mentions his issues with her stem from her insinuating he’s a predator and never correcting it or clarifying it. She tries to defend herself, but the truth is she did say she felt was being predatory with Michols, so no apologies come.

And that’s when Andy brings up the “unsafe” comment, and everyone looks visibly uncomfortable. Cue Emmy’s tears in 3, 2, 1…

Southern Hospitality airs Wednesday nights at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Peacock.
