Among her other ventures, Goldberg has authored over a dozen books herself and is now moving towards helping others achieve the same. Goldberg is partnering with Blackstone Publishing for this new venture. They aim to help out “fresh, diverse new talent to the marketplace.”

Per the announcement, Goldberg will be “intimately involved” in each step of the process, including cover design and promotion strategies (via The Independent). Among the authors published by WhoopInk is Rick Bleiweiss, a Blackstone executive who signed Goldberg’s memoir.

Goldberg will also publish some of her own upcoming works through the imprint, possibly even the sequel to her acclaimed memoir. “I am personally looking forward to finding new authors, working with established authors, and bringing influential voices into this curated imprint,” Goldberg said about the venture.

Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg remains an influential figure outside the literary world. Her stint on The View continues, while she is also involved with other film, theater, and television projects. She recently appeared in Un posto al sole, an Italian soap opera. Goldberg is also set to star in Big City Greens on television. She last appeared in a film in 2024 but is set to appear in other projects in the future.
